Increase the number of working days from 5 to 7 days per week

Through the settings in Vacations you can increase the number of working days from 5 to 7 days per week.

To access vacation configuration:

1. Open the application menu and in the Settings section click on Calendar.

2. In the Calendar Settings side menu, click on Vacations.

3. Click on "Increase the number of working days from 5 to 7 days per week".

   If vacations by contract are established by natural days, it does not affect anything.

   If vacations by contract are established by working days, it does affect.

   • With the increment option activated, the request will take into account the 7 days of the week in the vacation request and will deduct them from the available days.
   • With the option deactivated, the request will only take into account 5 days (Monday to Friday) and will not take into account Saturdays and Sundays and therefore, will only deduct 5 days from the available vacation days.

   That is, if a worker has 23 working days and creates a vacation request for a complete week:

   • With the increment option activated, a 7-day request will be created and deducted from the 23 working days, leaving 16 days pending vacation.
   • With the option deactivated, a 5-day request will be created and deducted from the 23 working days, leaving 18 days pending vacation.
