Internal Categories

Internal categories serve to classify all your employees based on their job position. All employees must have an assigned category to use the application correctly, without a category they cannot create employee shifts and other functions cannot be performed.

New Internal Category​

To create a new category:

  1. Open the application menu and in the Settings section click on Internal Categories.

  2. Click on the Add button to create a new category. A new window will open to configure the category.

  3. Complete the data for the new category:

    • Category name: name you want the new category to have.
    • Hierarchy: level of the worker hierarchy that the new category will have.
    • Payroll code (job position): in case of integration with payroll system we will indicate the job position code.
    • Agreements: Select the collective agreement corresponding to the internal category. You can add as many agreements as you want to an internal category.
    • Description of work linked to the internal category: functions that workers of the new category will perform.
  4. Click on the color box to select the color with which you want it to appear in the different parts of the application.

  5. Choose a custom color by configuring the settings at the top or select a pre-designed one located at the bottom.

  6. Next you must add the category's agreement. To do this, click on the + sign in Agreements.

  7. A list with available agreements will be displayed. Select the one you want.

  8. Then select the professional category.

  9. Once selected, the list with the default data for that professional category will be displayed. In that list we can adjust some parameters:

    • SS Company Annual: we can increase the percentage to contribute from the company to SS.
    • SS Employee Annual: we can increase the percentage to contribute from the employee to SS.
    • Contribution Group: we will select the worker's contribution group.
    • Absorbable Plus: in this section we will include the amount agreed with the worker for the absorbable plus.
    • Non-Absorbable Plus: in this section we will include the amount agreed with the worker for the non-absorbable plus.
  10. Finally, click Create.

Note

If the agreement has more than one revision you will have to complete this information for all available revisions.

Modify Category​

To modify a category:

  1. Open the application menu and in the Settings section click on Internal Categories.
  2. Find the card with the category you want to modify and click on the pencil icon.
  3. Change the necessary data in the new window that has opened.
  4. Finally, click Modify.
