Pending Tasks
In the pending tasks widget, you can see all pending tasks at a glance (vacation requests, overtime, contract expirations, extra-field reminders, etc.).
Contracts
- When a contract is near its end, a pending task is created for both the manager and the administrator (HR). The manager can request an extension or request termination. This generates a request.
- The administrator sees all contract-related requests that managers submit (extensions, terminations, rehires) plus a task to finalize or extend the contract.
- The administrator also receives trial-period end alerts.
Requests
- Vacations, absences, and leaves follow an approval/validation flow up the org chart. They appear in pending tasks as managers approve them until reaching the administrator (HR), who must approve/reject. The admin only gets the pending task once all managers have responded.
- Clock-in incidents, travel, “other reason” requests, and payroll advances do not create a pending task. They simply appear in the requests list. Managers with permissions can view/approve them if configured.
Additional custom fields
Date-type extra fields can have reminders. If set, they'll appear as pending tasks. Example: an extra field “ID expiration” with a 7-day reminder will generate a pending task for the administrator 7 days before expiry.
Custom workflows and preferences
Other custom workflows include:
- New bulletin post alert in the announcements board.
- Clock-in alerts: late/early entries/exits can notify the employee, their manager, or HR. Alerts can be set to trigger after 15, 30, or 45 minutes.
